SEE results reflect improvement, diligence: PM Oli

28 June, Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the improvement in secondary education examination (SEE) was possible due to diligence of students and teachers. Addressing the House of Representatives meeting today, PM Oli informed the efforts would be made for further betterment in SEE results in the years ahead.

The PM extended best wishes to all students and teachers for better performance. “It is a matter of happiness to achieve progress in SEE results after long. It is worth mentioning that the pass percentage increased to 61.81 percent from below 48 percent,” PM Oli shared. He, however, expressed worry over some comments made on the pass percentage which, he argued, belittled the diligent students. The negative comments insult new generation, the PM added.

The Head of the Government mentioned that government had readied the preparation for necessary rescue and relief to the disaster survivors in the wake of monsoon disasters. “Our country is prone to natural disasters. It is difficult to project how and where disaster occurs. So, we have intensified preparedness accordingly,” Oli reminded.
