New minister instructs employees to work keeping people in center

Kathmandu : Newly appointed Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Bikram Pandey has directed employees to carry out their work keeping the welfare of nation and people in the center.
While assuming office today, he said, “I have not become the minister just to occupy the post, rather to facilitate employees in their duty.”
According to him, to address issues in the forest and watershed zones will be his priorities.
He stressed the need of making the country sufficient on timber production with the proper utilisation of available forest resources.
On the occasion, Ministry’s Secretary Prakash Mathema wished the new minister a successful term.
