Tuladhar symbol of communist movement: Chairman Dahal

Kathmandu, Aug 31 : Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said leader Padmaratna Tuladhar is the symbol of communist movement in Nepal.

“Also the precursor of the movement of indigenous nationalities, Tuladhar has played significant role to bring then rebellion Maoist party in the peace process,” Chairman Dahal reminded, adding that he used to take refuge at Tuladhar’s home in the initial period of insurgency.
During a talk programme on Tuladhar’s role on peace process organized here Friday, Chairman Dahal also remembered the role played by Daman Nath Dhungana in addition to Tuladhar for the facilitating the peace talk and creating atmosphere for 12-point understanding.
CPN leader and former deputy prime minister Bamdev Gautam also praised the role of Tuladhar, saying he is the symbol of pluralism.
Similarly, former Speaker and mediator of talks between the government and the rebellion, Daman Nath Dhungana said Tuladhar fought the autocratic system and brought together people to protest the autocracy.
