Jajarkot, Sept 2 : A people's representative in Jajarkot has resigned from her post to become a school teacher.
Garima Shahi of Junichande rural municipality-6 had been elected a ward member in last year’s local level election. And representing the then CPN-Maoist Centre, she was elected a member of the District Coordination Committee.
However, she resigned from the post of DCC member on Thursday to be appointed as the teacher of the Bhanubhakta Basic School in ward no.7 of Chedagadh municipality. She will be serving as a maths teacher from Grade 6 to 8, according to District Education Coordination Unit, Jajarkot Chief Sudhinraj Budhathoki.
