Kathmandu : The government has given responsibility to National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) to provide Rs 15,000 in relief to each family affected from flood in this year in the Tarai districts.
The government has decided to distribute relief to a total of 41,626 households for the complete loss of their houses due to floods and inundation.
Likewise, the government has also forwarded a plan to provide additional amount to buy warm clothes to all those flood-hit households.
The District Disaster Management Committee of the districts concerned would operate the grant subsidy through the NRA.
A total of 134 people lost their lives in 18 worst hit districts from flood this year.
